RLC V INT CORPS Wed 4 Nov

With Corps rugby having taken a month off tofacilitate the IDRC  it was time for theRLC to get back to work and continue on their mission to get back to the merit1 standing they lost at the end of last season.

The RLC took on the INT Corps at Hullavington ona dank Wednesday afternoon, with many units already heavily involved at thestart of the Army's exercise period it was going to be a much changed RLC squadfrom that who had comprehensively destroyed the RAPTC in September.

The INT Corps started the game with much desireand passion, they pressed hard looking for holes in the RLC defence. The RLCheld strong under the onslaught with Lamont & Peckham leading the line indefensive tackling, both hitting hard and driving the INT Corps back.

As expected it was only a matter of time beforethe supreme power of the RLC came into play, skipper Capt Bolger and his 2ndrow partner LCpl Parkin were rampant around the park, driving deep into the INTcorps defence at every opportunity. This platform allowed scrum half CplNaulamatau an easy ride as he set the back line running at every chance. Flyhalf LCpl Montague varied his options running hard or releasing his powerfulcentres to reek havoc across the park.

With the score board ticking over regularly theRLC made changes to the starting XV giving the whole squad an opportunity torun out.

The INT corps gave a valiant performance but thepower of the RLC was too much and at the final whistle the RLC ran out clearwinners by 43 points to 3.
